The aluminium sheet is 8mm thick, and I plan to run the saw in a large pillar drill and use a slow speed, gentle pressure and lots of lubrication. (hehe, sounds quite dirty)
Will that work or will i just screw the saw up?
Thanks.

When I use the hole saw with the teeth in a more aggressive "forward" position, they grab and it jerks the drill out. When I reverse the drill I can keep the saw in the hole, but it barely cuts at all. This is a piece of 5/8" siding I'm trying to cut through if that makes a difference.
